Topsfield Fair.. Saturday night 10/11 5pm!

MaryBeth (Linehan) Maes
Yeah a shameless plug. I'll be playing some original tunes that I love to play and don't get to that often! Come see Brian Maes and Friends, 5 p.m., Trianon Stage, Saturday 10/11 at the Topsfield Fair. Brian will also do a set of his great originals, we'll do some covers... and Elle Gallo will join us in the 3rd set to sing her heart out. I'll be on rhythm guitar, Paul Soares will be on drums/vocals and Dave Gagnon will be on bass. (Bri will be playing keys as well...)

Yay!! I'm glad people are coming out to hang :] Yeah, I had to actually buy a turtleneck as I don't own one, in case it gets freezin. We did a show 2 years ago at the fair, and I was not dressed for it. I'm going to eat a corndog, burrito, corn on a stick and all kinds of stuff when I'm done LOL!!!

marybeth,,i hope it went well for u. one of my coworkers went this year and said it wasnt like it used to be. too many food courts and carnival games. he said it lost a lot of its lustre. not too many displays. don't know if this is true but it was his take on it!

Hey Erin, thank you for comin' by!! It was mighty freakin cold, I agree..... my guitar kept going out of tune! LOL But, it was fun. It was a big crowd at the fair itself, with people coming in and sitting for a few songs then going on to the next stop... which I think is typical if you're not a national act. I just hated the little toot friggin plastic instruments that the kids were using especially during the solo sets. I wanted to grab them and break them into tiny pieces LOL!!. I don't get to gig with my husband that often so we enjoyed it, and had a good time on stage. I ate the best steak and cheese ever in my life, oh my God. The people we deal with at the fair are sooooo nice. It's refreshing.
Hey I had my balls painted, too!! what a concidence. I had batman and robin painted on mine!! LOL
