New Nashua Restaurant
I'll give it Four Stars...
The newly opened CAFE INDIA on Elm Street offers a Lunch Buffet daily, including weekends. There is definitely a Nepalese influence here, with traditional Indian cuisine toned down a couple notches in spiciness.
For $7.99 here's an opportunity for the shy American palet to try a wide range of different dishes.

Did the Middle Eastern place go out of business? Or is this in a different location?

Do they have options for those of us with out-going palats?
9/23/2008 7:27:18 AM
btw- India Palace on Amherst St is excellent.
9/23/2008 7:27:45 AM
Jennifer... INDIAN PALACE has long been my favorite...
The best Tandoori on earth, as you know.
Pegjet... It's in the place where Mezza used to be... The food at Mezza was good, but the service was always terrible.

India Palace is soooo good. Now I'm hungry.
9/23/2008 9:44:45 AM
Never tried Indian Cuisine.

If you're ever in downtown Lowell, the Bombay Majal is incredible.

Your avatar is lovely OLi.
I love Indian Cuisine. I recommend first timers to go with someone who knows what to order. Or just head straight for the Korma. That tends to be on the less spicy side. And always get a side of raita (cucumber/yogurt sauce)

Thank you Jennifer! There are 800 pics from the wedding and 400 from the honeymoon, so somehow, soon-I will post them on a site for my friends to see, i'll email you privately though-that link will not be posted on this forum.

fantastic indian food. same folks that own Karma in downtown crossing, which has a nice indo-french fusion menu.
9/23/2008 10:24:08 AM
and i'd hardly call the american palate shy, i mean, we eat hot dogs and cheese wiz, twinkies and other exotic artificial space age substances that the uninitiated would never dream of eating.
9/23/2008 10:25:43 AM

I am too busy going to REAL restaurants to even think of dealing with virtual non-people that have never even eaten anything that wasnt servied in a styrafoam to-go box.

Milhouse... You're right...
I've been to London, Glasgow, and Sydney and they all have Indian restaurants on just about every corner, just like we have a Chinese restaurants on every corner here.
But... Indian Palace on Amherst Street still has the best Tandoori.
