spare wheelchair??
my dad would like to come up to watch my youngest son's first football game this sunday. he has multiple health issues including the fact he just had knee surgery 2 weeks ago. i don't think he will be able to tolerate the long walk from the parking lot into the stadium to the seats. even if we bring him to curbside, it is a fair distance.
does anyone have a spare wheelchair with pedals in good condition that i can borrow for sunday august 24? i can come pick it up or meet you someplace...

A wheelchair with pedals? Do you mean a recumbant bicycle?
just kidding...
Not sure what that is but you can rent one at any decent medical supply store for about $20

good idea chris but i don't want to have to rent one....then i have to worry about picking it up at a certain time, bringing it back at a certain time, etc. i have a lot of things going on right now and that is one thing i really don't want to add to the list...

You should post a message on Craigslist or you could contact your local Council on Aging (i think that's what they are called)

Bring a friend and just roll them out with a blanket over their bottom half at the end of your shift? Bring it back later saying you found it in the parking lot.

dot, sorry if I sound like a smart-ass. I don't mean to.
LOMEDCO on middlesex street has them and they're usually very flexible about pick-up and return. We got one for my mom last year when she had her knee replacement.
