ACME - ***New Venue*** - Caprice in Salisbury.
ACME Music Trio is trying-out a new room in Salisbury this Saturday. It's called "Caprice" and it's on 3 Central Ave.
Never been there - no idea what kind of room it is.
Any of you other bands play this room yet...? Are we going to get our asses handed to us if we play Bowie or ColdPlay...? :o)
Well - if YOU'RE just as curious to see if we're out-of-place there, feel free to come on up and witness the unknown.

As the post said, this Saturday: the 23rd.
I just did a quick search and it looks like it may have been called "Sands" before this...? I dunno for sure.

Again, if ANY other bands here have played this room, I'd be curious to know what the vibe/room is like. Not that it really matters - we do what we do... it's not like we're going to change our show or anything, but would love to hear what other bands think of the room.

Hello Acme- We played there last weekend ( Four on the Floor). It's a very nice room, just remodeled. It is an Italian Restaurant with a large bar and lounge area--tables and some stuffed chairs etc. No stage or lights--you set up in the corner of the lounge area. Easy load in--no stairs! Nice size-not too big or small. Similar to the crowd demographics as Palmer's. Very interested in the music. Lots of requests etc. Real nice management/ staff. A very nice room--have a great gig!

Great feedback - thanks! Yeah, you obviously know the Palmer's tie-in. Cool - we love the crowds that like to sit and listen. Palmer's is a great room for that.

This gig *MIGHT* be moved a few doors down the road to the owner's other place... I think it is called Surfside5 or some sh*t.
Still waiting to hear the details - will let you know... I know, you're all on the edges of your seats waiting to hear-back from me. :o)

If it is the Sands, virutally anything would be a step up...... Good to hear they've remodeled. We swore we'd never touch the Sands with someone else's 10 foot pole again.... But, if there's new ownership, etc., that's a different story.... Do you have contact info for the booking people over at Caprice? Good luck with the show! Thanks,
