So many drummers, but just checking....
Hi all,
Just figured I'd toss this up here. AND...I know what yer saying "Great!...ANOTHER drummer available" ?
You don't say?
haha... I know....I know...I could't help but notice the 100,000 ads in craigs (nh/ma) and also on here for drummers looking for gigs these days.
My current coverband gig is a very new one and as you all know, it's VERY hard getting any momentum booking gigs being brand new and especially this time of year. Also the band is a part time type of gig (most other members have fam/kids/busy lives outside of music).
A quick background on me is, I have been playing around the area for many years in many bands you more than likely would know/have seen over the years.... and tbth a good amount of bands you'd say "Ummm WHO ?!? ...never heard of'em" lol
I am experienced in and have played in a variety of styles/genres from Blues to Metal to Bop.
Anyway with ALL the above said...if anyone finds themselves in need of a drummer for fill ins/subs, another part time cover project, steady weekly house gig with fair compensation ;) ...etc.
Let me know.....If need be I could provide some tracks to listen to, I believe I have a rock'ish demo tune I did like 5 years ago on my lowellrocks profile...as well as a myspace page like most people do with more audio trax.

To anyone that doesn't know Bill. He's one of the best drummers I've ever played with. Versatile, deep pocket and chops. From a players standpoint he made my abilities skyrocket. I highly recommend him for any situation and style.

Yeah, I'm still at Gem. 10 years and hanging on. At least once a week Tammy would quote you "That place just sucks the soul out of you".
I made it through the first round of layoffs. I used to joke that they would never lay me off no matter how much I beg. Now I'm kind of thankful that no one else knows how to use my software or even wants to learn.
Anyhoo... Demons Alley is playing at Dodge St. on Friday. They are a damn good time and I am always amused when they write their set lists on ripped out pages from Hustler. With Joe moving to LA, they need a new drummer and I believe that also means his 80s metal tribute band, The Sunset Strippers, with Dave (guitarist for Demons Alley) is either disolving or looking for a new drummer. They had a standing Sunday night gig at the Lucky Dog for a good 8 or so months now.

that f*cking guy is the sleaziest, raunchiest motherf*cker I have ever seen on the local circuit and also a great great singer- good dude too, just a super nice guy
That's a gig I'd try and get if I were you Billy- those guys have been around quite a bit (can't be afraid to throw on a costume or a wig and some sh*t like that) and I've heard they rip it up pretty good
Plus I bet you'll get to see booobs

Yeah I HATED it there.....really....Jeff LaChance and I often recall the NOT SO fun days there....

I miss Jeff. Every once in awhile I'll hear from him or we'll go to a show together that no one else wants to see. Yeah, Jeff got let go before our murder/suicide pact came to fruition. He should have shot me 2 months ago. It's not so bad for me. People tend to leave me be. And I subscribe to the Jim Cheeseman philosophy of work: My hours are 7-3:30 and at 3:30 all you're going to see is the back of my head.

I hear from Jim every month or so. He's doing alright. Works for himself. And I talk to Deb on most days. I have a couple of Jeff's posters. Fantomas and the Melvins. I think the last time I saw him was the Turbonegro show at the Paradise last winter. Wow. So it's been awhile.

Tammy actually is gone with the demise of North Shore Trading early on in the summer. She just got married to her guitarist (Mike Myles) and she's keeping busy with freelance. We just laid off a good 10 people this month incliuding my boss, Dean Downie. I'm currently reporting to another former Salem Sportswearer, jim Doherty. Yup, Gus is still here as is Cyndi. I will say hello to Bill for you. Bill is one of the few people I will go to any length for.

Natalie has been gone since July and I had lunch with her sister yesterday who said she can't find anything.
