Fetters is AWOL. May be pulling a "Travis Walton", only abducted by illegal aliens.

These are some of parts in this pedal.
NOS Tropical Fish Capacitors

NOS Polystyrene Capacitors
Muse KZ and ES Audiophile Capacitors
NOS Allen-Bradley Resistors
ICAR Pot (Correct Taper, Resistance, Long Life)
Custom Handwound Inductor
Custom Powercoated Enclosures

These parts took a long time to source and stocks are drying up. I'm offering these on a very limited basis.

Oh yeah, Line 6 models those.
Sorry, Rob.
I had to.

LOL....
Nice one.
Just out of curiosity let's put my wah pedal up against a Line6 one.
Mwahahaha...

Tropical FISH capacitors???
8/16/2008 8:19:23 PM
*shrugs*

They are called that because of the colorful stripes on the sides of the capacitor. These stripes are coded to tell you the value of the capacitor.

You were hoping that it was a typo, and that he meant "tropical fizz" capactiors...

"These are some of parts in this pedal."
I have a stiffy now.
8/18/2008 12:53:40 PM
Wow....I remember the flux capacitor looking so much cooler as a kid. What did they spent a total of $5 and a couple of minutes to build that thing?
8/18/2008 2:53:42 PM
Nice....Now I know what I want for Christmas.

"NOS Allen-Bradley Resistors"
Rob, That's weird... I actually work for Allen-Bradley...
Actually, it's Rockwell Automation in Manchester, NH... but Allen-Bradley owns 'em....
8/18/2008 3:25:29 PM
Very cool, Desmond!
The old Allen-Bradley resistors have a tone that doesn't exist in the current day production carbon composition resistors.
8/18/2008 3:44:18 PM
Get me a part number.... Description... something.... I'll look 'em up.
8/18/2008 3:48:41 PM
Rob, e-mail it to me, in case this thread gets buried...
