KK ROCKS!
I did a couple of fill-in gigs with the Workin Stiffs, with KK on lead vocals. Man, she ROCKS. Great with the crowd, and she's fun on stage. I was filling in under some very tough circumstances (R.I.P., Mike L), but she made it easy.
If you get a chance to check her out with the Workin Stiffs or The Rock Daddys, do it!

I'm sorry to say I was only in brief consideration for filling in for Mike L for the WS' 8/8 gig, but I never made the final cut. It would have been mad fun to have played a gig alongside KK as I only once ever played 2 songs with her at a Spitfire gig. It was quite an experience.

When I get a chance to brag about a bandmate I never pass it up!
Not only is she great singer and crowd pleaser, she is great at helping us arrange backups, performing backups, booking gigs, setup and teardown, and really a great all around bandmate. We're lucky to have her!

Every time I've seen KK perform I've been very impressed. Beautiful, talented and most importantly, a REAL GENUINELY NICE PERSON.
The very best possible combination!

One thing I love about doing fill-ins is that you get to meet new musicians. Kevin, I may rock, but you WAIL man!! I've never seen so many people playing air-guitar as I did when you soloed. I had a blast & I hope we get to play again sometime.
I just love singing so much & I'm glad it "shows" :))

KK, I spied you at the Spinners game a couple of weeks ago, on a Friday night. You were hanging with friends, so I didn't want to intrude with my brood. Good game, nice night. 7 bucks a ticket and Stella Artois on tap, can't go wrong!

Yeah, I suppose it's not healthy for a nice girl like her to absorb too many compliments all at once.
But, she is very likely the best female singer in the area... and certainly the nicest! I just wish she'd sit in with us sometime...
