Prius Owners, want to get in the next Mel Gibson movie?
I get emails all the time from the casting agencies I go thru, I got this one today and thought I'd pass it on:
"Boston Casting is seeking Women, late thirties through early fifties, who own a Toyota Prius, to work as a Background Performer in the Mel Gibson film, "Edge of Darkness."
The scene will shoot in Eastern Mass, though we do not yet know when. If you own a Prius and would like to be considered, please email us at:
edge.vehicles@gmail.com. You must include a clear photo of yourself, one of the Prius, your phone number and your FULL NAME.
If selected, you will be contacted by a member of our staff. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. As we do not yet know when the scenes are shooting, it may be some time before we contact people.

Last Tuesday I was loading my tools into my truck on E.Brekeley when an NYPD police car with a camera mounted on the driver side just cruised by.I think they got me if it was rolling at the time.

Boston Casting is seeking vehicles to use in the upcoming feature Edge Of Darkness. Submit at edge.vehicles@gmail.com.
Please make sure you can meet these requirements BEFORE submitting!
1.) Production will be renting your vehicle for the following dates:
Today! Friday, August 15th through Monday, August 25th,
with the POSSIBILITY of extending to Wednesday, August 27th.
(If your vehicle is chosen, you will be required to drop it off this afternoon in Chelsea!!!)
They are offering to pay for vehicles at a rate of $130/day and you will be compensated for non-shooting days (weekend days) as well.
(up to 13 days TOTAL!)
If chosen, they may request to re-use your vehicle for the 3rd or 4th week of OCTOBER as well!
2.) After dropping your vehicle off at the stage in Chelsea,
YOU WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR VEHICLE AND/OR SET until the stage work is done.
**THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR BACKGROUND WORK! THIS IS A VEHICLE REQUEST ONLY!**
THIS IS A CLOSED AND EXTREMELY SECURE SET, ABSOLUTELY NO VISITS WILL BE PERMITTED UNTIL THE PICKUP DATE IS DETERMINED! ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!
3.) Shooting dates, as always, are subject to change. There is no set guarantee of usage and you must be flexible when production asks for vehicle pick-ups.
Please submit with a current photo, include make, model and color in the email, as well as contact info, and make sure YOU ARE AVAILABLE TODAY TO DROP OFF IN CHELSEA! We need actual photos to submit to production.
