This new disc is a guitar tour de force. Kaby if you see this e-mail me. Nothings going through. Nothing like PT making a mess. Crash and Burn

OH MAN,
I saw Pat Travers at the Bull Run a couple of years ago,
UP CLOSE! My jaw still hurts...
I still can't remember seeing a more impressive rock guitar performance EVER, and I've seen plenty of great stuff.
Well, Joe Bonomasa is really amazing too...
Trust me, if either of them plays nearby, go see them.

What are the details on the new CD?

13 songs and most are ripping. "Crash and Burn" and "I Don't Care" are exceptional. Of course "Boom Boom" , "Snortin' Whiskey", "Bad Sign", are all there too. It sounds like he is in a small club in Holland. Listening to it again and digging it.

Pat is a killer guitar player no question about it. I saw him the first time in 78' at the Paradise and it was over the top then and now he has all those years as player under his belt and still kicking it up. The disc is worth grabbing even for newbees to his work, kind of live greatest hits of sorts.

I saw him in 82 opening for Aerosmith. He also had Pat Thrall on guitar. They were great.

I have seen him many times after 78 but last year in Newport RI with Kaby was heroic. It was 0 degrees outside in the middle of the winter and the band came on and in a matter of minutes it was burning. Pat Thrall can also make some noise I have always wondered what he is up too, great player. Tommy Aldridge was with him for awhile and that was a monster of a band.
