Actually it's very fortuitous because I had him scheduled for a gig from 12-4 and THAT gig was cancelled too. Poor guy got shot AND THEN stabbed in one day. That call from you was a miracle cure.

I have to say..........at 8:15 tonight, I thought I was going to get my walking papers. Haluwa was as dead as a doornail.
Then...........one by one, our friends started making their way in. And more people, and new people, and people I've never seen, and people who I saw in Haluwa in passing.
Next thing you know, the place was packed!!!!
Thank you to our friends: Charlotte, Ellen, Best Damn Roadie (who was the first one to show), Taunia Soderquist, 44 Mag, Jesse Mag, PegJet, Joe McDonald and Cuddlebug, and everyone else who made tonight the success that it is!
What almost was the beginning of the end, turned out to be one of the best nights ever!!!!

Wow-- this is wierd doing my first post for Tuesdays AFTER all the fun and debauchery... It was a FANTASTIC night as usual at the Haluwa--- sorry I didnt get to hype it up yesterday, but I was doing the family thing in Salem,MA and I didnt have a laptop with me.... I cant begin to tell you how fast we made it home ( WITH ME PRAYING FOR NO TRAFFIC) so I could get ready for the best night of the week--- and we made it!!! JZ and Dave-- you know Ellen and I will always be there-- unles we call in "sick" to one of you guys--we know that is the rule!! A great night was had by all --- it was great to see Cuddlebug, Joe, Peggy and BDR-- it almost felt like another place we used go!! Heres to many more Tuesday nights in our future WOO HOOOO!

Actually, I was driving back from Nahant last Saturday night and I get interested in names. Nahant is such a strange name, it's pronounced differently in different parts of the state.
With a soft "a", long "a", I can imagine how people in Iowa would pronounce it.
So then I think, what do you call someone from Nahant? So I'm going back and forth, with different city's, then I drive through Lynn and I think "Lynnite?" "Lynninan?", and Linoleum made me laugh out loud and I immediately thought of you.
