No Doubt one of the best thing I've ever done.

I am talking about hosting the Songpulls.
Despite how much work it takes on my part it really has been a good swift kick in the butt for me to at least stay actively writing.

Being self taught I have to do everything the hard way and usually everything is last minute for me.
Those of you that are on my songpull mail list will know I sent out some tips I recieved from a 20 year teacher of songwriting which I recieve monthly and in that was some typical chord progressions.

Well I used those chords to write my next songpull song and as usual only started on the lyrics yesterday. Up to that point I was aimlessly roaming around trying to think about what to write about. So I've decided on making it a lullaby because the chords were really pretty.

Actually while writing this song thinking of my own children I was also reminded of CM's Avatar.
My nest Songpull Song:

"Pot Of Gold"
V1
Off to sleep little one this day is over
another day awaits tomorrow
while you sleep you can ride upon a rainbow
in your dreams go find your pot of gold
Ch
Life is always full of dreams about tomorrow
And where we'ed like to be someday
In your dreams you'll make a path that you will follow
And one day you will find your pot of Gold
V2
Now don't you worry if your dreams keep on changing
What makes you happy is the way to go
And if somehow your dreams do lead you to some sorrow
Behind a tear's another Rainbow
Ch
Life is always full of dreams about tomorrow
And where we'ed like to be someday
In your dreams you'll make a path that you will follow
And one day you will find your pot of Gold

Br
Someday you'll see the gift of life is always giving
The things we need to help us grow.
And if your luck should bring you the life of a child.
Then you'll know, What you Hold, Is your pot of Gold.
V3
Off to sleep little one this day is over
another day awaits tomorrow
while you sleep you can ride upon a rainbow
in your dreams go find your pot of gold
Ch
Life is always full of dreams about tomorrow
And where we'ed like to be someday
In your dreams you'll make a path that you will follow
And one day you will find your pot of Gold
A treasure that will last as you grow old

No offense, but one of the best things you've ever done was go off on Alan a couple weeks ago (no offense Alan). That was some good readin'.

I know Barbie. ;-) Nice picture BTW.

Carl wait until you hear the music. It's even more beautiful.
I'll bet you'll want to sing it to your daughter once you hear it.
