I limit his bongo solos. His cowbell solos however, are the centerpiece to any evening's performance.

Cowbell lessons! That's what I've been looking for! Shall I pick up Mel Bay's Cowbell Book 1?
Eventually I hope to be 1 of 2 cowbell players in a band. We'll trade off lead- rhythm and even play double leads together sometimes. I've been studying that video of Senor's. If I slow it way down I can catch some of the super fast triplets and paradiddles and play along!
