Arte K playing in Groton this Friday night w/old-time fiddle band
I'm playing upright bass with the ContraBanditos, an old-time fiddle band, at the Stagecoach Inn in Groton Center, this Friday night (5/23) from 8-11PM. Also playing are East of Shirley and Snow Crow, and perhaps some additional artists throughout the night.
The show is a benefit for the Fassett Family, who tragically lost their son, Darby, last week. Dan Fassett has played with me (and I with him) in many configurations over the years. It'll be a great night of acoustic-based music, so please consider coming out and supporting this worthwhile cause.
The concert is in the Carriage House, the function room in the back at the end of the parking lot (not in the front room where we usually play).
