Rocking for KPM 2008 update
just want to update the post. thanks to everyone that wants to be involved! the boys can't wait, they really enjoyed themselves last year. it was something totally different, in fund raisers for them. music is something we all can enjoy. this year i want upgrade the food for the show. i have a trailer mounted spit coming, with lots of pork loins, roast beef, and turkey. the club will be providing salads, and all the dinnerware. if anyone wants to bring any dishes to compliment this, i truley appreciate any help we get. can always use ideas for raffle items as well. the list of bands is as follows:

i know this list sounds like a lot. but it was hard to say no to any of them. they all insisted in doing it again. may start day a little earlier. also last year, a couple of bands did longer sets. hopefully, they can do 30-40 min. sets, that way we can get everyone in. one louder is playing friday night, and has donated their equipment for the show. i thank them for that. if any of the bands need to talk to me, my info is here:

Tom when you say Deb's has the salads under control, do you mean green salad or pasta, potato salads also?? What kind of salad are they supplying? (then us food donators will have an idea what to make/bring)

Food for 400 is good tbass. If the amount of people show up this year like they did last year I don't think you'll have too many leftovers ... lol. And with Deb's making the salad stuff it will give me a chance to make stuff that I didn't get to make before!

hi guys and gals!! sorry i have been mia. been away for 2 weeks. plus family issues to deal with. my cousin kevin, who helps me with this benefit, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor 2 weeks ago. then my 4 yr old grandson, was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes last week. it just never seems to stop. got to keep going though!!! dave, glad to hear the ramp is up. good for you my friend. need to get this benefit going, it is a good therapy for me. thanks to everyone who has bumped up the thread. want to start to put line-up together soon. as far as bands go last laugh will be around 4:00pm. decadence, bottoms up, matt murray band, coven of 13 will be on later after 7:00pm. if any other bands have a problem time wise, let me know. i need to fill out the daytime. i will try to accomodate everyone, but it could be tough.

Thank you Paula :-) I worked on it for about 6 months ... lol. It's been changed many, many times and I didn't like how it was coming out so I had to walk away from it for a bit. But it's done now and that's all that matters.
I know some folks are thinking "why the hell did she need a web site when it's only a benefit". The answer is - because I needed one to go along with something else KPM-related that I'm working on.
And because I felt like it :-p
