I'm looking for rehearsal space in the merrimac valley , southern new hampshire area , I use to rehearse in billerica at back stage studios , but band dismembered , does anyone know any links to rehearsal space and/or rehearsal complex's ?

riffdaddy , I just went on a tour at the music mill in chelmsford , at the end of a 45 minute tour they told me they had no available rooms and wanted first and security to hold the next available room , and they told me that which ever room is open they move you in to it , even if it doesn't fit the size of your band , you have no choice but to take it . it came to about $ 750.00 without even getting a room or even a room that you would perfer . thanks for replying

Yeah that place is bad. Real communist approach. Try the Manchester place it's only 30 minutes from lowell and it's much cheaper. They usually have rooms available.

Actually I don't think things have changed at all since we got our space at music mills and they do not ask for a security deposit, only 1st and last months rent, total for us $600 to move in. We are now a four piece and fit into one of the midsize rooms. There are bigger ones. Having rented in six other spaces from Boston to New York, I can tell you the conditions are cleaner and better than both billerica and morgan and even a clean bathroom and maintenance crew seen regularly. It is worth going through the intense security to have these things if that's what bothers you. I think if your down on the place, it is because you have rented anywhere else before to see how bad things can get. Sometimes there may be a lag before you get in because of the attritution rate of the bands which is very low. Bands once they get in tend to stay for a long time for all the reasons you just complained about. We were placed only a month after we put our deposit down and are very happy here.
