Actually, the opening night of the 303 Loft Series starts next month on 4/21 at the Revolving Museum in Downtown Lowell (just around the corner from The Dubliner). My band "Vote For Pedro" is the feature act, and then the rest of the night is open for a completely acoustic open mic. See

I asked someone yesterday about open mic nights at Pinatas...they mentioned Wednesday? Sorry...now I'm not sure what nights they have it..Anyone else know? And other establishments that offer it?..I'm interested too?

I think Slammers in Bedford, NH has a Jam on Wednesday nights as well, but that mights have changed.

Rusty G's 8pm-close (host is Brad who is also the bartender)

Wednesdays
Tavern at the bridge (never been here, so not sure of the details here)
Blue Shamrock (host Craig Lantaigne 9:30-close)
Pinatas Tewksbury (host...that guy that sounds like john fergerty.....9:30-close)
The Old Worthen (10-close.....its fun here but tight quarters)
Thursday
The Avenue Pub, Dracut (9:30 - close Host is Wil. not sure of his last name, but great blues musician)
If anyone has any information regarding other open mics (i'm looking for a monday and/or tuesday night place) please give me a call or slip me an email.

... regularly attend the sunday night open mic at rusty G's and the wednesday night open mic at the Blue Shamrock.(I'm that funny fat guy who covers Dontcha by the Pussycat Dolls on Acoustic Guitar) But i'm looking to host my own too if anyone is interested In Hiring.

No more jams Thursdays at the Avenue Pub. I stopped in and asked. I sat in there with Wil Knight maybe six months ago, but I don't know what he's up to. I did a cover band with Wil in the late 80's.
