Yesterday's Heroes
The idea of a Boston Oi! band had been kicking around in the heads of founders Kevin Gallant and Jamie Payette for years. But it never came into fruition until recently. The two friends have recruited Andrew and Tito of On a Mission fame. Essentially forming a bastard, mutant, love child of On a Mission and The Fuel Injectors. Tito soon left the band becuase of work conflicts. Andrew moved from drums to guitar and eventually they found a drummer that more than fit the bill in their old friend Vin.
Their first official show was on April 6th, 2007 at Feed Your Head Books in Salem, MA. They are going to hunker down and continue to write songs that will leave people touched and having fun. The band released their first EP on October 27, 2007. They have shared the stage with bands such as Trashlight Vision, The Blue Bloods, and The River City Rebels.
Yesterday's Heroes will play almost any time and anywhere. So when and if they come to a town near you, come oun out to a show, join in, and have some fun.
