2010 is shaping up to be a big year for New England based singer-songwriter Tim Bergeron. His young career has already included performances alongside many of Boston's most established songwriters: Chad Perrone, Will Dailey, and Cahill to name a few. He's managed to take that momentum and use it to secure opening slots for many national acts, such as Pete Francis (Dispatch), Comedian Mike Birbiglia, and Elmwood. Now Bergeron is ready for his debut release, The Next Chapter EP.
The Next Chapter EP shows the diversity of Bergeron's many influences. The title track is a folksy take on coming of age and growth. "Come for You" echoes the roots-rock of The Black Crowes. The CD ends with "Give It To Me", a more straight-forward pop-rock number. The EP shows a balance and diversity not prevalent in many songwriters' debuts.
Tim is currently preparing for the release of his EP. The next year will show him continuing to establish himself in the college market as well as the club scene in the Northeast. Tim Bergeron is a name to watch over 2010.
