THE MIGHTY BAD HABITS
The Mighty Bad Habits, continue to soar to new heights playing Rock and Roll, Funk, and The Blues in its purest
form., The Mighty Bad Habits have proven that The Blues, as well as Rock and Roll, are most certainly alive and
here to stay.
Vocalist Jake Jacobsen has declared himself a man of The Blues, belting out his soulful lines with an impressive
range to match. Drummer Sammy Raia continues to lay down a rock solid foundation for the band, occasionally
interjecting an improvisational jazz element to the mixture of musical styles. The Mojo Hand of guitarist Duke
Raia remains as confident as ever; exuberantly laying down his style of “swampy” blues that one would swear
was straight from the bayou. .
Collectively the band has opened for such acts as: Muddy Waters Johnny Van Zant, Popa Chubby
Marshall Tucker, The Outlaws, The Fools, The Stompers, Luther Guitar Junior Johnson, Henry Paul, Mick
Ronson, Sleepy Labeef, and Joe Louis Walker among others. The Mighty Bad Habits show no signs of stopping as they’re ready to begin rocking through another year,
leaving nothing but the sweet sound of the blues in their wake. Some habits are hard to break, and in 2011, it’s
still The Mighty Bad Habits.
