The Happy Accident
The Happy Accident was formed in April of 2009 by members: drummer Bobby Langlais, lead guitarist Jack Barrier and rhythm guitarist James Hicklin. The three played as a trio for three months before acquiring their bass player Alex Sayre. The band has practiced six to ten hours a week since they were formed playing everything from rock to reggae, and country to alternative covers and originals alike. As a four piece the band has toured the region receiving rave reviews playing dance orientated clubs, international music festivals, holiday parades, radio station events, restaurants, bars, ski resorts, back yard parties, corporate and municipal functions, and countless others. The band has also had original songs on main stream radio, has been in several write ups in newspapers, and had songs in radio commercials. Playing music ranging from rock to reggae and everything in between; hits from the 60’s on up to the most current songs streaming the radio today. The Happy Accidents repertoire consists of over one hundred of the greatest most recognizable danceable cover tunes and several great original pieces as well. The bands whole goal is to have fun while playing so that their audience can enjoy themselves and dance and sing along to every song they play. All four members of the band continue to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and creativity, whether it be adding to their long set list of established popular covers, or working on writing and developing originals they love what they do!
