Rick Breslin
Rick Breslin's music career reaches back to early 1999, when he played every VFW, coffeehouse, and college dorm room he could find with his original band, Emblem. Since then, he has performed and recorded with several other bands, in several other types of venues (the Boston rock clubs were a welcome change).
After a couple years, Rick formed Emblem Music, a label affiliated with the performing rights organization BMI. All his musical works are published under this label, and Emblem Music also supports other local artists such as Leo Blais and Timber Jerry.
More recently, Rick is a member of the band Timber Jerry with fellow singer/songwriter and lifelong friend Jim McNamee. The band enjoyed moderate acclaim for their energetic and unique live performances, and their two full length releases (Plasma Treat, 2001; Audio Cinema, 2003). Rick's music career has taken a back seat to his professional endeavors: starting a web design/development company aimed towards providing small businesses (and bands, artists, clubs, producers, promoters) with attractive, efficient web site solutions. In fact, Rick developed LOWELLROCKS.COM in the winter of 2002, and with the assistance of the LowellRocks.com management team, expanded the site to a full blown online music community.
Back to the music, Rick will use this page to house his most recent musical projects and news. If you'd like to listen to or purchase Rick's CD's, visit www.TimberJerry.com or www.RickBreslin.com.
