Late for the Sky
Late for the Sky is a reinvention of LOWELL, MA. based act 'RUMBLE Syndicate'. RUMBLE Syndicate was a touring staple on the east coast for many years before disbanding in 2002.
Singer D2e (pronounced Double E) & Guitarist Skunk re-formed the band and spent a year writing new material to go in a different direction than RUMBLE previously had.
The new sound is self-described as 'Modern Classic'. The band has a modern rock approach but take large influence from Classic hard rock styles and try to incorporate those overtones into the music.
After entering the studio in late 2006 with acclaimed producer Anthony J. Resta, (Collective Soul, Duran Duran, Megadeth, Nuno, Satellite Party) the album was completed and released in 2007.
The result is an 11 song appeasement for Rock music fans in general. Some elements harken back to Van Halen, Ozzy or even U2, but have drawn parallels to contemporary oufits such as Staind and Audioslave.
A music video was shot for the lead-off single "Letting Go", Directed by Paul Concemi (Seether, Killswitch Engage, Gnarls Barkley). Look for the video on the bands official website (Late4thesky.com) as well as on many other websites and local cable stations.
The band is currently booked by Supreme Entertainment. See Pollstar.com or late4thesky.com for all tourdates.
