A 29-year-old Philadelphia native and recent Lowell implant, Harris has been composing and performing music for over 20 years. Armed with an acoustic guitar, harmonica, and modest voice, Harris plays between the lines of rock and folk scattered with traces of other influences. Musically, he descends from the genres of classic rock, folk, grunge, classical, jazz, Spanish rock, and traditional Jewish music. His lyrics tend to favor such themes as dissecting institutions of government and religion, love, hatred, hope, and loss. While striving to remain his own man musically, Harris Bierhoff always revisits his roots in performing a few covers by such musical heroes as John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam, Beck, and Juanes. See Harris Bierhoff perform, and you will assuredly find something you can take with you musically, spiritually, and/or intellectually.
