At the turn of the millennium, two musicians hailing from opposite ends of the country were brought together by a mutual passion for hard rock. Justin Molaison, a native of New Orleans, and Idahoan Mike Fretwell met in Boston in 2000. Sharing an apartment and a serious love for rock, they sought out some of the best talent in the country to put together THE hardest rocking band in the New England Area. Mark Molina soon joined the group on drums, Ben Olendzki on rhythm guitar, and Adam Wiedmer on bass, and Full Tilt was born. Each of its five members brings a unique musical taste and style into creating Full Tilt's distinctive, yet unmistakably edgy sound. Mark, who hails from Miami, and Adam, from New Hampshire, provide a powerful backbone of percussion, while Ben, the only Massachusetts native in the band layers the sound with pulsing guitar rhythms influenced by the raw sound of Sevendust. Mike creates heavy melodic musical passages that are highly memorable. Justin, lead vocalist and songwriter, sings with a crystal clear and emotionally charged voice. Full Tilt has been performing in many venues across Massachusetts; from Cambridge to Worcester to their home base in the Back Bay. They recorded their self-titled debut EP in 2003, but it's their performance at live shows, that makes this band stand out. While playing live, Full Tilt proves that a serious love of music should always be distilled with a heavy dose of balls to the wall, head-banging, rocking fun. On all these counts and more, Full Tilt delivers, and will continue to deliver as long as there are people in the world who want their music turned up all the way.
