Halfway There

Drive Theory is based out of Newburyport Massachusetts. Craig Peura (Guitar/vocals) and Kenneth Allison (Drums) began playing music together in 1997 to record a song for a middle school project. Band members passed through but the core of Craig and Kenny persisted. With Evan Cormier (Bass) joining in 2002 Drive Theory's lineup was solidified.

What to Expect at a Drive Theory Show:

Drive Theory brings a mix of Covers and Originals to their shows, showing a diverse range of interests. Drive Theory has covered artists as diverse as Madonna, Jack Johnson, Lenny Kravits, and Radiohead. Drive Theory's sound is an eclectic mix of rock, pop, and funk influences. Drive Theory's original songs are the product of Craig's innate ability to find catchy melodies and lyrics that never leave the brain, and Kenny and Evan's solid rhythm playing, giving the songs the structure and support they need to reach into the innermost reaches of the listener's psyche.

Individual Bios:

Craig Peura (Guitar/ Vocals)
Craig is a student at UMass Lowell, focusing on vocal performance and Music Education. His mix of ivory tower training and music experience shine in his songwriting and performance.

Kenny Allison (Drums)
Kenny is a student at Suffolk University Law School. He is a self taught drummer who plays mostly from feel. His ability to transform Craig's musical vision into a product of reality makes him the quintessential rock drummer.

Evan Cormier (Bass)
Evan is the Bassist for Drive Theory, joining the band in 2002. His bass playing brings a solid low end bridging the gap between Craig's Guitar melodies and Kenny's rhythmic pounding. Evan ties the two together to help create the polished, finished product.
