What is Craig? Craig is four musicians from central MA with a name easy enough to remember and a sound you will never forget. Since the mid 90's Craig is a seasoned entertainer that takes form when Chris Conte, Paul Chase, Neall Russell and Paul Courchaine perform live. With varying musical backgrounds and influences Craig is a modern day rock band. Progressive, groove oriented, heavy, funky and classic are some of the terms to describe Craig's music, but one thing is for sure, this is an experienced rock band that enjoys playing together. Developed chemistry along with musical respect and listening allows Craig to take the music wherever it wants to go, and drive it through dozens of originals and covers spanning a spectrum of musical genres. The members of Craig have individually earned their musical stripes as well. With over 60 years of combined experience and an abundance of musical degrees and personal accolades there is nothing holding them back. In the last three years, Craig has held an intense rehearsal schedule and religiously maintained a local weekly residency at two of the best rock clubs in central MA allowing for a steady influx of musical development and on stage creativity. With the goal to deliver the best live rock show possible and with an emphasis on humor and fan interaction, it is no secret that the most notorious aspects of Craig occur onstage.
