Hailing out of Boston, 21-year-old singer-songwriter Brian Bergeron is an artist on the rise. 2006 has seen Bergeron play over 100 shows throughout the east coast as well as being accepted into Boston’s highly competitive Faneuil Hall Street Performer’s program. After busking all summer in Faneuil Hall, Bergeron returns to colleges, clubs and coffeehouses with a focused, refined sound. He continues to sell his first CD, The Closer EP, which has been met with affirming indie press and has shared the stage with college acts such as Matt Nathanson and the Pat McGee Band. His sound is most often compared to the aforementioned Nathanson as well as pre-eminent artists such as Damien Rice, Ryan Adams and Jack Johnson.
