The Alpha Dawgz brand of Rock 'n' Roll is nothing more than straight ahead, hard driving rock. The band's philosophy is to strive to play true to the original artist's music and is dedicated to honoring the best Rock 'n' Roll written from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and today’s rock hits.
The Alpha Dawgz perform a wide variety of music that accommodates both small and large venues. The Dawgz repertoire includes covers from today’s modern and alternate rock artists artists as well as standard classic rock and blues.
The Alpha Dawgz collective musical talent combines four of the Merrimack Valley's premier musicians. Upfront, the Alpha Dawgz showcase Tom Powers, on lead vocals and acoustic and electric guitars, and Dave Souza, on lead vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, slide guitar, and blues harmonica.
The Alpha Dawgz are proud to feature a solid rhythm section that includes Joe Pettengill , formerly of Figure Four, on Bass Guitar and Vocals, and John Bilancieri ,(Boston Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame) on drums! John and Joe lay down the solid foundation that rocks the (Dawg) House!
